Do I need to buy an outline to use Writer?
No. Writer opens NovelStarter outlines (.nso) and includes a Sample Story to explore. Outlines from our catalogue come with an .nso you can import.
Who owns what I write in Writer?
You do — your text, your changes and what the AI writes for you in your projects. We don't publish it and we don't use it to train AI models.
What happens when the month's AI runs out?
AI pauses until your subscription renews, or you can add Extra AI for that month. Everything that works without AI keeps working.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep AI until the end of the period you paid for. After that your account continues on the free plan, with all your projects.
